The meat label comprises an absorbent surface material, which has a front side to allow for printing and writing on it and a rear side, which has several areas with a food-compatible adhesive and other areas without the adhesive. The adhesive-free area is adherent to the wet areas of the meat product’s surface and the areas containing adhesive are adherent to the dry areas of the meat product’s surface.
